My work concerns in how to tell a story. There are many ways to do it. Personally I always felt interested in doing so. When one tells a story, this is never completely real. It has our filter.
In art we could say that we do so with some poetry.
We look for the magic to make history come in a new life, stop sleeping in archives, real or virtual, and come to the surface with poetry.
To me this poetic is through the transformation of the images, in the construction of new interpretations or translations.
Every story is steeped in history even if we tell them one minute it happens, we are always one step beyond the fact, real or imaginary.
The past is connected with the future in a flow toward another time, may be in the present, or in the future and the fact is directed to an unknown time, a future that spreads the experience.
The story comes sometimes from a found object, a conversation, a memory, a photograph, or film image, a painting or watching events around us.
